“Interlude in Focus”

Welcome to Interlude in Focus, a student-curated exhibit showcasing each student’s unique style and perspective on Italy. This exhibit offers an intimate glimpse of culture and creativity through the eyes of our student artists.

To bring this vision to life, you’ll find over forty works of varying sizes, each capturing a singular moment in time. Throughout the gallery, the arrangement mirrors our course offerings—from Introduction to Digital, Film and Street Photography, to Photojournalism.

You’ll also see work by advanced photography students centered on the theme of Underground Florence, which is this semester’s focus in Blending Magazine, the university’s student publication.

Hosted in Corridoio Fiorentino, Interlude in Focus builds on FUA & AUF’s vision to showcase a diverse array of student work and to blend Italian culture with experiential learning and community engagement. Featuring both study-abroad and full-time students, we hope you enjoy this special exhibition and discover familiar views hidden throughout the gallery.
