The American University of Florence (AUF), in collaborazione con l’Associazione La nuova Tinaia e l’Azienda Usl di Firenze, porta al Corridoio Fiorentino una mostra che svela emozioni crude attraverso narrazioni drammatiche e coinvolgenti. Comixetina raccoglie il lavoro di studenti che hanno trasformato esperienze personali in brevi storie a fumetti — ogni opera un mondo privato reso con immediatezza, arguzia e il potere dell’inaspettato.
Questi studenti hanno creato i loro racconti da soli, elaborando la vita attraverso vignette di umorismo, dramma e assurdità. La nuova Tinaia li ha supportati in ogni fase, aiutandoli a costruire solide basi nella scrittura di sceneggiature, nello storyboard, nella prospettiva, nell’anatomia e nelle tecniche narrative; come afferma l’associazione, “offrendo l’opportunità di esprimersi attraverso la combinazione di storia e disegni, idea ed esecuzione, interno ed esterno.”
In mostra dal 16 ottobre al 13 novembre 2025, Comixetina è stata organizzata dagli studenti del corso di Gallery Assistant di AUF, con l’assistenza del Professor Lapo Morgantini. Il progetto è stato concepito per favorire l’integrazione culturale tra studenti internazionali e comunità locale, creando uno spazio condiviso dove voci diverse si incontrano e risuonano.

The American University of Florence (AUF), in collaboration with La nuova Tinaia Association and Azienda Usl di Firenze, brings to the Corridoio Fiorentino an exhibition that lays bare raw emotion through dramatic storytelling and compelling narratives. Comixetina gathers the work of students who have translated personal experience into short comic-book stories — each piece a private world rendered with immediacy, wit, and the power of the unexpected.
These students crafted their tales alone, processing life through panels of humor, drama, and absurdity. La nuova Tinaia supported them every step of the way, helping to build firm foundations in scriptwriting, storyboarding, perspective, anatomy, and narrative technique; as the association puts it, “providing the opportunity for self-expression through the combination of story and drawings, idea and execution, internal and external.”
On display from October 16 until November 13, 2025, Comixetina was organised by AUF’s Gallery Assistant experiential learning students with the assistance of Professor Lapo Morgantini. The project was conceived to foster cultural integration between international students and the local community, creating a shared space where different voices meet and resonate.
